Don't come and bitch me that all politicians are assholes. This one is way assholer.
People sometimes don't realise it, but Nicolas Sarkosy is a very funny person. Not as much as his good friend Berlusconi, but I suppose you can always find worse. The buffoon has managed in one dinner to indirectly insult all his allies in an impressive move of arrogance and self satisfaction.
Quoting the New York Times: In the world according to Sarko, President Obama is weak, inexperienced and badly briefed on climate change; Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany did not comprehend her country’s economic problems and “had no other choice than to rally to my position”; and the leader of the European Commission, José Manuel Barroso, was “totally absent” from the recent Group of 20 meeting negotiations in London. He took down two at once when he said José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero of Spain “may not be very clever, but I know people who were very clever and who did not make the second round of the presidential election” — a slam at Lionel Jospin, the former French Socialist leader.
I remember times when such condescending attitude from a head of state was casus belli. I hereby demand the international criminal court to release an arrest warrant against that crook and the security council of the United Nations to pass a resolution to condemn Frances attitude towards its peers. Anyone got the email address of Ban Ki Moon?
